“It is as impossible, unnecessary, and undesirable to be a Christian all by yourself as it is to be a newborn baby all by yourself.”

  • Community Groups

When Jesus calls us into his holy family, he commands us to both know and be known by our brothers and sisters—to encourage and to support and to teach and to love one another (Hebrews 10:25).

Here at Central, community groups are one way we do that. These smaller family groups meet on a regular basis to pray for each other, study the Bible together, serve alongside one another, and (maybe most important of all) simply enjoy living daily life together in friendship.

If you’d like to join a community group or just find out more, please contact Pastor Jason at the church office.

  • Sunday Luncheons

While participating in a community group may be the avenue by which you develop an inner circle of close spiritual friendships, it’s important for us to relate at a broader level with our local church family—to get to know and love a more diverse section of the congregation as a whole.

For this reason, we host a monthly Sunday lunch after worship. This is a time to eat really good food, talk and laugh with folks you don’t normally get to see, and build the bonds of unity which will foster healthy ministry both inside and outside the walls of our church building.

All are invited—members and visitors alike. Please don’t hesitate to join us. Your taste buds will thank you.

  • Breakfast Bonanzas

It’s clear in Scripture that Jesus didn’t just invite his disciples into fellowship with him. He was regularly taking time and carving out opportunities to eat, drink, and laugh with those who were not a part of his inner circle of disciples (Luke 19:1-10).

At Central Church, we think this is a pretty good idea. So, we’ve made it a standard practice to host a monthly breakfast feast for anyone and everyone who would like to join us.

Come and bring a friend and an appetite because the biscuits are legendary, and the rest of the food isn’t too bad either—sausage, bacon, eggs, gravy, and coffee. Enough said.
