Sermon Series – The Book of James: God in Every Area of Life
Beginning on Sunday, August 19, Reverend Dr. Jason Abbott begins a sermon series on the Book of James: ‘God in Every Area of Life’, which will continue each week through the beginning of Advent.
Worship services are Sundays at 10:00am, and all are welcome to attend. Sunday school is at 10:15 during the worship service, and a nursery is available for those who wish. There is a coffee hour prior to the service at 9am downstairs in our gym.

Central Church was established in 1858 by a group of German immigrants in Jefferson City, MO as Central German Evangelical Church. Throughout our history, we have been part of the Evangelical, Evangelical & Reformed, and United Church of Christ denominations. We are now non-denominational, but we still hold fast to our Protestant, Lutheran, Evangelical & Reformed, and Congregational Christian roots and traditions, while being open to change and new opportunities. We hope to see you at one of our worship services or one of our many functions!.
